City Nature Challenge- Kitsap Bioblitz 2026

Bringing the world together for biodiversity

April 24-27, 2026

The City Nature Challenge (CNC) is an annual four-day event where people around the world use iNaturalist to document the plants, animals, fungi, and other wildlife living in their cities and neighborhoods. 2026 marks the 11th year of the CNC!

Every observation becomes real biodiversity data, used by researchers, land managers, and policymakers to understand and protect nature worldwide.

> Wherever you bioblitz in Kitsap, it is critically important to help protect our amazing natural wonders, whether feather, fur, insect, leaf, flower or fungi, by keeping their habitats intact.

> You can help keep our natural habitats healthy by letting our county and municipal officials know what these places mean to you. Perhaps share your bioblitz discovery?
