Nature and Environment Book Club

Love learning about the natural world? Want to read some great books and connect with your community? In partnership with Kitsap Environmental Coalition, GPC is starting a book club! We’ll be reading nature-focused non-fiction, and meeting at the Clear Creek Interpretive Center to talk about what we’ve read together. Join us for this interest meeting to get acquainted with each other, share book recommendations, and vote on our inaugural title! We’ll provide coffee and tea for you to enjoy!

Contact: Reach out to GPC’s Community Stewardship Fellow, Katie Jackson, with any questions (katie@greatpeninsula.org).

Sign Up for the interest meeting!

Join KEC in April as Dark Sky Advocates explain why dark skies are important to the health of humans, wildlife, and the climate. A panel of community members will join the Advocates to talk about how you can participate in research to support bird migration and track light pollution.
