In Part 2 of our 3-part series on Water, we take a closer look at the hydrology and sustainability of our local water supply. What is the impact of climate and land use on streamflow and the unique challenges for the county, including many disconnected small drainages, heterogeneous small aquifers, and groundwater and rainfall dependence? What are the current pressures on Kitsap water management and the science behind water resources locally?
