KEC Presents Field Trip to Rokalu Farm

Farm Visit and Composting Workshop. Farm owner Bob Gilbey gives an in-depth workshop on large-scale composting on a working farm that can be applied to small-scale composting.
Bob will describe the basics of composting chemistry and what a composting process needs in order to be successful, and help folks address particular challenges in their setup.

As drought looms we learn about our local water source, regulatory protections, the impact of increased development, and what we can do to Keep Kitsap Green.
Joining friends on Native Plant walks is something I look forward to weekly. Photographing the flowers, trees , ferns, mosses and lichens is one of my greatest joys.
