Winter Solstice is a powerful reminder of Earth’s natural rhythms. The tilt of our planet’s axis causes the Sun to reach its lowest point in the sky for the Northern Hemisphere, creating the longest night and shortest day. Across cultures, this moment has symbolized reflection, renewal, and the promise of light returning, marking a turning point in the year that connects us to both nature and the cycles of time.

Let’s take this time to gather together and reflect on our place in this world, in these times, and how to create the future we want.

Stories that have inspired us…

Braiding Sweetgrass, The Cougar Conundrum, The Signature of All Things, Conservation Confidential, Real Gardens Grow Natives, The Trees are Speaking, Horizon, Landmarks, The Dharma Bums, Underland, Water Always Wins, Downriver, Night Magic, Earth for All, The Treeline, Nature’s Best Hope, Crossings, Nature’s Temples, Smokescreen, Eager, Homewaters, Sand County Almanac, Desert Solitude, The Light Eaters, The Giving Tree...

Share what speaks to you (send us your list) and read a short passage to us as we gather for Solstice.
