KEC • March 2, 2024

Couple bird watching in forestPlease join us on April 27, at 10 am for a Bioblitz at Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park. Help Kitsap Parks Department take an inventory of plants, animals, and fungi to better understand the living organisms in their natural environment. Team up with animal and plant experts to find, observe, identify, and document park wildlife. Kitsap Environmental Coalition is excited to participate in and promote the Kitsap County Parks BioBlitz. All ages are welcome, including children accompanied by adults.

Volunteers are needed to join small groups and help find and identify plants, mammals, birds, bugs, amphibians, fungi, etc. Please note any knowledge you have in identifying park wildlife in the registration form which helps the event committee organize groups.
